Τhe design aims to blend the aesthetics of the Northern suburbs of Athens with the functionality and luxury of high-end residences, maximizing the plot’s orientation and views. This four-story complex is located approximately two kilometres from the centre of Kifisia, one of the most important luxury commercial hubs in Attica. The “Estate of Mind,” due to its unique location, offers its residents the tranquility of a purely residential development.
Its distinctive design, with a clean-cut white volume floating over a rigid marble finished base dominates the plot, while the wide surrounding views create the appropriate privacy for the residents towards the street level. The dense vegetation on the plot’s south-eastern boundary influenced significantly the design of introverted residences. Additionally, all three residences have spacious outdoor covered areas, as an extension of their respective interiors, where tenants can enjoy almost every season of the year.
Taking advantage of both the plot’s corner location and the complex’s orientation as well, all three residences enjoy spacious views. The large outdoor spaces are a continuation of the interior living areas, as the large openings extend their interiors visually and experientially, virtually increasing their area and offering the possibility of direct contact with the natural environment. Simultaneously, the residences’ design contributes to providing absolute privacy for the tenants where required.
